What the overlay does

A structural overlay on top of the PTGui Panorama Editor

Panomind works from your saved .pts project, reconstructing frame positions and control points, then exposing structure that is hard to read in the standard PTGui interface. It complements the Panorama Editor while the project itself stays in PTGui.

What you see

The overlay surfaces link quality, control-point structure, verticals, and weak areas directly on top of the Panorama Editor, so you can review project health in context.

What it solves

It cuts review time by making structural issues easier to spot at a glance and by keeping inspection and assistant actions in the same workspace. That is especially useful when you need to review large numbers of PTGui projects quickly.

How it integrates

PTGui does not expose a public API. Panomind works from the saved .pts project and PTGui state such as Configuration.xml, then redraws the overlay from that file-based state.

Operational rule

Save in PTGui to see PTGui-side changes reflected in the overlay. If Panomind writes new control points or verticals, reload the current PTGui project in PTGui so those updated .pts changes are pulled back into the editor.

Roadmap

Where the workflow goes next

The next steps stay focused on faster PTGui-centric review, generation, and project analysis.

Next

Broader batch workflows

Expand control-point and vertical generation into clearer, broader batch-oriented flows.

Planned

More generation controls

Add a larger set of tunable parameters for control-point and vertical generation.

Research

Model and algorithm upgrades

Continue testing new detection and generation models to improve coverage and reliability.

Interactive

Direct overlay editing

Extend the overlay toward actions such as deleting points or links directly from the view.

Analysis

.pts analysis and reports

Generate clearer diagnostics and reporting from saved PTGui project files.

Platform

macOS after Windows

Keep the current Windows-first release path, then deliver the macOS version afterward.

Request a Demo

Bring a real PTGui project and see the overlay on top of it.

Development is active, the first testing release is ready, and the number of demo slots is currently limited.

Core installer

panomind-win-x64-vX.Y.Z.exe is the main Windows release package.

Optional GPU runtime

panomind-gpu-runtime-cu130-vX.Y.Z.exe is for NVIDIA GPUs and is used only to accelerate the Control Points Assistant during control-point generation.

Before you start

Windows 11, 64-bit

with PTGui Pro already installed.
